What is Urology
Urology is the treatment, diagnosis, and surgery related to disease and illness of the male and female urinary tract. Common areas are the kidneys, bladder, reproductive system, and urethra.
When do I need to see a Urologist?
Typically, your Primary Care Physician will refer you to a Urologist if you have uncontrolled, new, or concerning urologic symptoms. A Urologist is needed in specific cases, so be sure to discuss options with your PCP. Let your PCP know if you are experiencing any of the following:
